If I get pictures tomorrow of a snow day, I will post them 🙂 School is cancelled for tomorrow since it started snowing tonight. Dudley loves going out in the cold even though he has a short hair coat. In the mean time, here are some pictures of him on a 3 day dog sitting adventure with the barky Malinois. There was bed piles and lots of barking. He was glad to go home after the 3rd day! The dogs did amazing and were so good together inside the house. The Dude just doesn’t like lots of noise.
Awww what a fun pawty! It’s odd that he loves cold but hates rain. Dudley’s a puzzle but oh so fun!

Dudley really is a conundrum! He is 100 percent a hound nose…loves catching any scent trails but thankfully doesn’t run off. He loved the snow and had to really sniff everything and he loves it when it’s windy out. He’s getting better with the rain since he’s realized that it is part of living here. And he loves his heating pad and his bed. He is a big ole sloth sometimes 🙂 We’ve figured out the strategy for outdoor bathroom visits. I make a little kibble trail that leads to the door. He knows that once he gets up off the bed, he’s pretty much going outside. I stopped battling him to get up off the bed because that wasn’t working. My acupuncture vet said to me “It’s his choice and if he won’t go to the bathroom inside, you just have to let him make the decision.” He obviously doesn’t want to soil his home so it is a deliberate decision to hold his urine/etc. I found that forcing him is not the way to go about it…so I coax him. He doesn’t respond to ultimatums at all 🙂
